One Passenger From Uganda Arrested By Custom Department For Carrying 992 Gms Cocaine

According to recent reports coming in the custom department at the the Indira Gandhi International Airport has arrested one passenger travelling from Uganda under section 43(B) of the NDPS Act.

According to reports coming in this person has swallowed 91 capsules of cocaine weighing approximately 992 gms.

As per sources the estimated value of the drug is Rs. 14 crores. This is the 24th case of seizure of NDPS covered drugs at Delhi airport this year. 

According to customs sources till now around 32 passengers have been arrested so far. The estimated value of drug seizures would go into more than Rs. 845 crores according to Customs Department.
