18 Hour Long SPs Conference Ends Today In Assam Presided Over By Assam Chief Minister

Latest reports have been coming in from Assam where SPs conference which started yesterday ended in the wee hours of today morning.

According to reports coming in from ANI which has shared that the first day of SPs conference that started at 10.30 am yesterday ended at 4 am today. 

According to reports this 18 hour-long marathon was intense, with detailed presentations by SPs and additional SPs of Assam.

This conference has been presided over bye Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
