Latest reports have been coming in from the national capital of the country New Delhi where Prime Minister Narendra Modi office has confirmed that today Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Manipur and Tripura.

According to reports coming inform Prime Minister Narendra Modi office which has shared that PM Narendra Modi will be visiting Manipur and Tripura today. 

According to the reports PM will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 22 developmental projects worth over Rs 4800 Cr in Imphal.

As per sources from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi office Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be inaugurating the New Integrated Terminal Building at Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport in Agartala.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
