Private Offices In Delhi Closed For Covid Protocol, Have To Work Online

Latest reports have been coming in from the national capital of the country New Delhi where all private offices in the capital has been closed with a view of the rising cases of covid-19 in the city.

According to the reports coming in all the private offices in Delhi shall be closed.  Only those offices are excepted which are falling under the exempted category.

As per reports other offices will have work from home shall be followed. All restaurants & bars shall be closed, takeaways allowed according to DDMA in its revised guidelines. 

Private offices in Delhi shall be closed, barring the ones in the exempted category; work from home shall be followed as per DDMA.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
