An Earthquake Of 3.1 Magnitude Rocks Jammu And Kashmir In Wee Hours Today Morning

Latest reports have been coming in from the national centre of seismology which has reported an earthquake of 3.2 magnitude in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to reports coming in an earthquake of magnitude 3.2 occurred around 15 km South-Southwest of Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir at around 5.43 am today as per National Center for Seismology.

However according to local administration no loss of life and property has been reported from the earthquake which has struck Jammu and Kashmir in the wee hours today morning.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
