Latest reports have been coming in from Karnataka where a Lecturer in a government college has resigned as she was asked not to wear Hijab in the classes.

According to reports coming in from Karnataka where an English lecturer of Tumakuru's Jain PU college resigned after college allegedly asked her not to wear hijab during classes.

As per sources the English lecturer in a video which she prepared herself after she resigned has said that it is a matter of my self-respect. 

As per sources she has said that I am not comfortable working without a hijab, so I've resigned according to she said in a self-made video.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
