According to the sources Maharashtra Environment Minister Aaditya Thackeray today has visited Nandgaon fly ash dump (Maharashtra State Power Generation Ltd) in Nagpur.
According to the reports Maharashtra Environment Minister Aaditya Thackeray has said that we had received complaints regarding pollution through fly ash dumping in Nandgaon.
The Minister further added that I had also seen videos taking complete info about this. But I had to come to the field and see the actual situation.
Maharashtra Environment Minister Aaditya Thackeray also gave instructions after meeting.
According to reports Maharashtra Environment Minister Aaditya Thackeray also stated that fly ash dumping has stopped from February 4.
And today after taking stock of situation, we instructed that fly ash dumping pipeline be removed immediately.
Maharashtra Environment Minister Aaditya Thackeray also stated that the place where ash is being dumped be cleared. Electricity is necessary but we'll take care that environment isn't harmed.
