Supreme Court To Hear Petition Of MBBS Students Today

Latest reports have been coming in from the national capital of the country New Delhi where Supreme Court has resumed this hearing on the petition filed by MBBS students.

According to reports coming in Supreme Court will resume its hearing today on a petition filed by MBBS students regarding postponement of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG 2022) exam.

According to reports along with this postponement of national eligibility come entrance test post graduate NEET PG 2020 exam the students are also demanding extension of the deadline of completion of internship.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
