Latest reports have been coming in from International ice hockey Federation council which has suspended at Russia and Belarus from upcoming all events.

Latest reports have been coming in from Russia Ukraine crisis where International Ice Hockey Federation Council, in a statement, suspends all Russian and Belarusian National Teams and Clubs.

This suspension of Russian and Belarusian from participation in every age category and in all IIHF competitions or events, until further notice.

According to sources the IIHF Council withdraws the 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship hosting rights from Russia. 

As per reports it will initiate discussions in the coming months to find a new host for the event.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
