According to reports coming in from Punjab where work on repair of gold sheets is underway at Harmandir Sahib also known as Golden Temple
According to sources the repair work which has been going on in Golden temple is being done by United Kingdom-based group.
According to sources this United Kingdom based group has been cleaning the gold plating.
Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has entrusted the “sewa” to the Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha according to Mohinder Singh, SGPC Secretary.
According to Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) Secretary Mohinder Singh who has shared the reports of repair works of golden sheets while speaking to ANI has said that said pollution have darkened the goldplated walls of the gurdwara.
He has further added that due to the COVID19, the “sewa” could not be conducted in the last two years.
