Rescue Operation Underway In Jharkhand Trolley Mishap

Latest reports have been coming in from Jharkhand where two Mi-17 helicopters are involved in rescue operations in Deoghar district of Jharkhand.

According to the reports several people are stuck in a ropeway trolley due to a mishap. The operations are still on according to Indian Air Force officials.

According to the reports a  woman was declared dead and another person seriously injured. Rescue operation is underway according to DC Deoghar, Jharkhand.

According to reports out of the 11 people rescued yesterday, one declared dead. 48 are still trapped. However IAF is involved in the rescue operation. 

ITBP and NDRF teams are also present according to the reports DC Deoghar, Jharkhand.

In another update one person rescued as ITBP and NDRF personnel carry out rescue operations at ropeway site near Trikut, Deoghar in Jharkhand.

Speaking to media on this incident Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that I have been reviewing the situation since yesterday. 

We have sought help from NDRF, IAF, experts, commandos. Rescue efforts underway since early this morning according to Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren on ropeway incident in Deoghar.
