Swords, Kukris And Scabbards Worth Rs 3.7 Lakhs Recovered From Pimpri Chinchwad

Latest reports have been coming in from the economic state of the country Maharashtra where Pimpri Chinchwad police have seized swords.

According to reports coming in from Pimpri Chinchwad in Maharashtra where police have recovered swords from a courier firm's office in Dighi area.

According to Krishna Prakash, Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner while speaking to media has said that we have recovered 92 swords, 2 kukris and 9 scabbards worth Rs 3.7 lakhs. 

According to sources the Police Commissioner of Pimpri Chinchwad has further added that the consignment was supposed to be delivered to Aurangabad. 

Further investigation is being carried out and search is in full swing to gather more details in this regard.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
