Batadrava Police Station In Nagaon district, Assam Set On Fire After Man In Custody Dies

Latest reports have been coming in from Assam where and unrully mob has set a police station on fire after a man who was arrested and was put in police custody died there.

According to the reports coming in Assam where a mob set Batadrava Police Station on fire in Nagaon district after man allegedly died in police custody.

Assam SP Leena Doley while speaking on this incidence has said that we are investigating the allegations. 

According to the reports coming in three persons have been detained from among persons who attacked police station. 2 police personnel have been injured in attack according to SP Leena Doley.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
