Finland And Sweden Submits Their NATO Membership Application: US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan

Latest reports have been coming in from United States of America  where US Union National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan has said that today, Finland and Sweden submitted their applications for NATO membership.  

According to the National Security Advisor, President Biden has welcomed those applications and he looks forward to working with NATO Allies.

The President also looks forward to work with Congress on a swift accession process according to US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.

He has further stated that on May 19 morning, the President will welcome the President of Finland and Sweden PM to the White House to coordinate on the path forward. 

After that, President Biden will depart for a trip to the Republic of Korea and Japan according to US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.

In Japan, President Biden won’t just have a bilateral program, he will also have the opportunity to participate in the second in-person Quad Summit. 

He will do this alongside the PM of Japan, the PM of India, and the PM of Australia according to US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.
