Four Suspected Terrorist Nabbed In Haryana, Suspected Has Links With Pakistan Based Man

Latest reports have been coming in from Haryana where Karnal Police has detained four terror suspects, recovers a large cache of explosives.

According to the reports coming in on credible intelligence input, 4 terror suspects including 3 belonging to Ferozepur and 1 from Ludhiana detained near Bastara toll plaza. 

Explosives were recovered from them along with other arms and ammunition. Accused identified as Gurpreet, Amandeep Parminder and Bhupinder according to SP Karnal.

According to the sources the accused were in touch with a Pakistan based man who asked them to drop arms and ammunition at Adilabad, Telangana. 

Accused Gurpreet received explosives sent from across the border using a drone in Ferozepur dist. Earlier, they dropped explosives at Nanded. FIR registered according to SP Karnal.

He has further stated that the accused were caught with explosives as they were transiting via Haryana. 

Police are conducting a thorough investigation according to Haryana CM ML Khattar on explosives recovered in Karnal. 

According to reports the accused were taking the current consignment of explosives to a place near Nanded from Ferozepur, Punjab. 

FIR registered under Explosive Substances Act and UAPA. 1 country-made pistol, 31 live cartridges and three containers with explosives recovered according to SP Karnal.

However, Police has nabbed 4 terrorists. 3 IEDs, 1 country-made pistol, 31 live cartridges, 1.31 lakh cash and 6 mobile phones recovered from them. 

They got explosives from Pakistan through drones and were tasked with carrying them to Adilabad in Telangana according to Haryana Home minister Anil Vij.

All 4 accused were apprehended around 4.30 am (today) and have been arrested. 3 IEDs, Rs 1.30 lakh in cash have also been recovered. 

All will be produced in court and taken on remand. A probe will be conducted to ascertain the involvement of another terrorist group according to Haryana Police.

All four terror suspects being taken to court from CIA Police station in Karnal. Haryana Police had recovered explosives, arms and ammunition from them, earlier today. 

According to Jahandeep Randhawa, Ambala SP has stated that we got the info that four terror suspects have been arrested in Karnal. 

An IED was recovered in Ambala a few months ago, so we are coordinating with Karnal Police and will carry out further investigation according to Jahandeep Randhawa, Ambala SP.
