IED Explosion Takes Place In Manipur, Sapam Mayai Leikai: One Dead Four Injured

Latest reports have been coming in from Manipur where a major explosion has taken a life of one person and five others have been injured severely in the explosion that has taken place in a community hall in Sapam Mayai Leikai.

According to reports coming in  One person has died and five others were injured in an IED explosion inside a Community Hall at Sapam Mayai Leikai in Khongjom. 

However the injured were evacuated to Thoubal Hospital. The spot is kept cordoned for forensic inspection and a case has been registered by the Thoubal Police.

According to the reports all sorts of angle are being investigated as shared by the Manipur DGP P Doungel while speaking to ANI.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
