Defence Minister Rajnath Singh Attends Handover Ceremony Of 12 High-Speed Guard Boats In Vietnam

According to the reports coming in Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has attended the handover ceremony of 12 High-Speed Guard Boats to Vietnam at Hong Ha Shipyard.

According to the sources this ceremony marks the successful completion of the project to build 12 High Speed Guard Boats under USD 100 mn Defence Line of Credit by Gol as stated by the Defence Minister. 

According to the reports coming in from Vietnam where defence ministry has stated that this project is a glowing example of our ‘Make in India- Make for the World’ mission. 

We would be greatly pleased if close friends like Vietnam become part of our Defence Industries transformation through enhanced Defence Industry cooperation according to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.

The Minister has further stated that under the Defence Line of Credit programme, five boats were manufactured at L and T Shipyard in India and seven at the Hong Ha Shipyard in Vietnam.

Rajnath Singh has also tweeted that "I’m confident that the success of this project will be a precursor to many more cooperative defence projects."
