Repolling Announced At Two Polling Booths In Assam After Reports Of Violence

Latest reports have been coming in from Assam where repolling has been announced at two polling booths where violence have erupted.

According to the reports coming in the violence has adopted over these polling booths yesterday.

According to the reports Violence erupted at two polling booths under Duar Amla council constituency in West Karbi Anglong district yesterday.

The violence had occurred during Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council election, said police.

According to the sources the violence occurred and mob destroyed ballot boxes of two polling booths. 

However, the administration has ordered re-polling at two polling booths under Duar Amla council constituency in West Karbi Anglong district.

According to reports now the polling will be held on June 10 and an FIR will also be lodged according to Alok Kumar, Assam State Election Commissioner.
