9 People Dead, 1 Rescued And 5 Missing When Their Car Was Washed Away In Ramnagar, Uttarakhand

Latest reports have been coming in from Uttarakhand where 9 people have lost their life when the car they were travelling was washed away in Ramnagar area amid heavy rainfall.

According to reports coming in from Uttarakhand where 9 people have died, 1 girl rescued alive and about 5 trapped after a car in which they were travelling was washed away in Dhela river of Ramanagar.

The incidence has reported to have happened amid heavy flow of water induced by rains early this morning.

This has been confirmed by Anand Bharan, DIG, Kumaon Range while he was speaking to ANI.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
