Madhya Pradesh: Junior National Equestrian Competition in Bhopal From This Date; Top Horse Riders Of Country Will Take Part


Bhopal: The residents of Bhopal will be able to see the best horse riders of the country competing with each other in the month of December. Junior National Equestrian Competition-2022 will be organised from December 12 to 25 at Madhya Pradesh State Equestrian Academy of Excellence, Bhopal.

Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia reviewed the preparations for the competition at the Equestrian Academy, Bishankhedi. She informed that 200 sportspersons and 200 horses from across the country will participate in the Junior National Equestrian Competition. The thirteen-day long competition will have team and individual events in show jumping, cross country, dressage, tent pegging. 

Minister Scindia inquired about the arrangements being made for the players and their horses during the review. She instructed to make temporary stables for the horses in view of the competition. Chief coach of Madhya Pradesh State Equestrian Academy of Excellence Captain Bhagirath Prasad informed that equestrians from 16 states will participate in this competition. The competition will be judged by a jury and official judge on behalf of the Equestrian Federation of India.
