Poster of Savarkar with Rahul Gandhi in Bharat Jodo Yatra: Karnataka Congress said - We will file a case

Bengaluru: Savarkar is once again in news in Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra. A poster was put up in this yatra, which reached Mandya district of Karnataka, in which Vinayak Damodar Savarkar is seen with Rahul Gandhi. The party has denied this poster and described it as an act by a mischievous element.

Earlier on September 21, posters of freedom fighters were put up to welcome Rahul in Kochi, Kerala, which also had Savarkar's photo. Later the party covered Savarkar's photo with Gandhi's photo.

Sonia joined yatra: Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi joined the yatra in Karnataka's Mandya district. During this, Rahul's poster with Savarkar went viral on social media. Karnataka Congress leader Mohammad Nalapad said that this poster has not been put up by us. We will file a case against it. Earlier, on 30 September the Bharat Jodi Yatra reached Karnataka. The Congress had put up around 40 photographs to welcome the yatra, which were torn down. The Congress had accused the BJP of tearing the posters.
