Rajasthan: Four die, 16 seriously burnt in Jodhpur gas cylinder explosion


Jodhpur:
Four people were burnt alive in the gas cylinder explosion in Rajasthan's Jodhpur district. 16 people have suffered serious burns. An area of ​​about one kilometer was shaken by the blast. The incident occurred in Kirti Nagar area of ​​Jodhpur. 

Collector Himanshu Gupta said that there was gas leakage during illegal gas refilling in residential area Kirti Nagar at around 2 pm on Saturday. Vehicles parked in the adjoining colony have also come under fire.

Youth, 3 children killed: A youth and three children, were among those killed. Neeku (12), Vicky (15), Suresh (45) and Komal (13) died in the fire. Naksh (11), Nirma (37), Shobha (50), Saroj (30), Hariram (42), Nitesh (14), Kanchan (30), Rajveer (5), Khushi (2), Parasram (25), Divyanshu (16), Ashok (33), Anraj (42), Suraj (24) and Bhomaram (60) got scorched. The name of one of the injured could not be found.

Eight people suffer up to 80 percent burns: Preliminary investigation revealed that this house belongs to Kojaram Lohar. Kojaram's family of four brothers live in this house. About 8 out of 16 people admitted to the hospital have suffered up to 80 percent burn injuries

It is also coming to the fore that Kojaram's son used to do gas refilling work as well. However, it is not yet confirmed what caused the accident. After this incident, CM Ashok Gehlot also tweeted and wrote – Full information about the incident has been sought from the local administration.
