Hardik Pandya Came Under Fire From Fans For Not Giving Sanju Samson A Chance

Mumbai: In the second T20 match against New Zealand, India registered a resounding victory and Suryakumar Yadav once again showed how brilliant his batting is.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India i.e. BCCI has given rest to senior players.

Captain Hardik Pandya and team coach VVS Laxman are on target despite the victory in the second T20 against New Zealand.

And the reason is that Sanju Samson was not given a chance.

In the second T-20 match, Rishabh Pant was given a chance as wicket keeper. He opened the innings with Ishaan Kishan.

However, Rishabh Pant failed once again and could not perform well.

Ravi Shastri said give 10 matches to Sanju: Former Indian cricket team coach Ravi Shastri has also spoken about giving a chance to Sanju Samson.

Ravi Shastri said - Give Sanju Samson a chance. Give him ten matches. Not just two matches. Make other people sit. Give 10 matches to Sanju Samson and then see what to do next.

Sanju Samson was also not kept in the team of Asia Cup and T-20 World Cup. India tried Dinesh Karthik in some matches of T20 World CUP, and Rishabh Pant in some other matches as wicket keeper. But the performance of both was nothing special in the World Cup.

Hoever, Sanju Samson did a great job in IPL this year. He had scored 458 runs and his strike rate was also 146.79.

Sanju Samson has so far played 16 T-20 international matches for India. In August this year, he played a T-20 match against the West Indies.
