Bengaluru: A case has been registered against Rahul Gandhi under the Copyright Act. This case has been filed by KGF-2's music label company MTR. The company alleged that Rahul has used the song of KGF-2 - Samandar Mein Lehar Uthi Hai Ziddi Ziddi Hai Thoofan ... in the promotion of Bharat Jodo Yatra. Permission has not been taken from them for this.

Music company MTR says – The company had paid a hefty amount to the makers to get the rights for the Hindi version of KGF 2, but Congress used the soundtrack in Bharat Jodo Yatra campaign without any license for political agenda and marketing purposes.

Case also against Jairam and Supriya: On the complaint of M Naveen Kumar, business partner of MTR Music, Yesvantpur police station of Bengaluru has registered a case against Rahul Gandhi, Rajya Sabha MP Jairam Ramesh and Congress's social media and digital platform chairperson Supriya Shrinate.

A case has been registered against Rahul Gandhi, Jairam Ramesh, and Supriya Shrinate under sections 403 (dishonest misappropriation of property), 465 (forgery), 120B (criminal conspiracy) and 63 of the Copyright Act, 1957 of the IPC.
