T20 World Cup 2022: Team India's Senior Players Show Their Concern For Bowlers

Adelaide: On Monday, Team India reached Adelaide from Melbourne. How much our seniors care about their bowlers, it came to the fore during this journey. Apart from captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Rahul Dravid also gave their business class seats to bowlers so that they can sit comfortably with legs stretched and stay refreshed ahead of the semi-final against England.
Team India has to play the semi-final against England on November 10. This match will be played in Adelaide. For this the team reached Adelaide from Melbourne.
The air travel between the two cities takes about 3 hours. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and coach Rahul Dravid gave up their business-class seats for Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya and went to economy class themselves so that the fast bowlers could rest and stay refreshed during this time.
The Indian team played its last group match against Zimbabwe in Melbourne on 6 November. Team India was the topper in the group after getting a big win of 71 runs in this match.

Management felt the fast bowlers must relax

According to ICC rules, each team gets only 4 business class seats. Usually these seats are available to the coach, captain, vice captain or a senior player only. When the team management felt that the fast bowlers needed more rest, our team seniors themselves went to economy class and gave business class seats to their pacers.
After reaching Adelaide, the support staff of Team India informed about this. This staffer said- We decided that the fast bowlers need more rest. So that they could sit comfortably during the journey, the captain, coach and Virat decided to give up their business class seat.
