Madhya Pradesh: Congress Leader Raja Pateria Arrested For Making Objectionable Remarks On PM Modi

Panna (MP): Madhya Pradesh Congress leader and former minister Raja Pateria, who spoke of Modi's assassination, was arrested from his house at 5.30 am on Tuesday. Pateria was in Hata, his hometown Damoh. The police arrested him from here. Police will present Pateria in JMFC Court Powai. 

Earlier, the police took Raja Paetria to the Powai Community Health Center. Pateria had said in Hindi in a meeting on December 11: If you want to save democracy, be ready to kill Modi. In the sense do the work of defeating.

The BJP came on front foot on his statement. Home Minister Narottam Mishra on Monday gave instructions for FIR on Pateria. After this, a case was registered at Powai police station in Panna. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh said that the true face of the Congress has been revealed.

Pateria apologizes, Congress may issue notice

However, Pateria apologized for his statement on Monday night. On the other hand, Congress can issue notice to them. Earlier Pateria had said- 'I am a follower of Gandhi and a follower of Gandhi cannot talk about murder. My video is being publicized in a wrong way.'
