Panna: The court sent Madhya Pradesh Congress leader and former minister Raja Pateria to jail after rejecting the bail plea.
After the arrest, the police took Pateria to the JMFC court in Powai. Earlier, he was taken to Powai Community Health Centre for medical checkup. The first class court rejected Pateria's bail application. He was sent to jail in judicial custody for 14 days.
After this, Pateria showed the victory sign while leaving the court. Police arrested Pateria from his house at 5.30 am on Tuesday. Pateria was in Hata, his hometown Damoh. The police arrested him from here.
When Pateria was leaving the court, he showed the victory sign and said, this is a fight of ideology. I didn't say those words. I am a follower of Mahatma Gandhi. Earlier on December 11, he had said in a meeting, 'If democracy is to be saved, be ready to kill Modi. In the sense do the work of defeating him.'
