Indore: Welcoming the NRIs at Indore's famous Food Zone Chappan Dukan with the songs Padharo mhare desh and Mehman jo hamara hota hai woh jaan se pyara hota hai, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the people of Indore have welcomed their guests by opening the doors of their hearts along with the decorative toran dwar. I heartily welcome such incomparable and wonderful residents of Indore on behalf of the country's heartland Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Chouhan reached Chappan Dukan along with his wife Sadhana Singh. Chouhan was welcomed by the president of Vyapari Sangh and traders of Chappan Dukan with bouquets and delicious dishes.
CM Chouhan welcomed the NRIs by covering them with shawls. He said that Chhappan Dukan is not a place to give speeches but a place to eat and drink and by giving speech I cannot do injustice to delicious dishes.
Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silavat and Medical Education Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang were also present. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also relished a paan at Chhappan Dukan.
Chief Minister Chouhan, in his familiar style, sang Nadiya Chale, Chale Re Dhara and Mehman Jo Hamara Hota Hai Wo Jaan Se Pyaara Hota Hai on the stage. The businessmen welcomed the Chief Minister with Chhappan Bhog at Chhappan Dukan. CM Chouhan enjoyed the cuisine accompanied by his wife.
Presentation of attractive group dance in cultural evening under the direction of Ms. Maitreyi Pahadi at Nakshatra lawn of Brilliant Convention Center was organised.
