Pathaan Release: Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Starrer Becomes Biggest Hindi Film In Terms Of Advance Bookings; Several Single Screen Cinemas Are Reopening

The Siddharth Anand directorial Pathaan featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles is releasing on the big screen on Friday in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. 

There is information that several single screen cinemas, which shut down due to Covid-19, are reopening with Pathaan given the unprecedented buzz and hype that the film is carrying.

4.30 lakh advance bookings: Despite all the controversies and boycott trends, the film has started receiving bumper advance bookings. 1.71 lakh tickets were booked on the first day itself. 

By the morning of January 24, this figure reached around 4.30 lakh. Pathan has become the biggest Hindi film in terms of advance bookings.

Film can break the record of Bahubali-2: Earlier this type of opening was received by South's film Bahubali-2. More than 6 lakh advance tickets were booked for this film. 

According to trade analyst and film critic Sumeet Kadel, Pathcan can break the record of Bahubali-2 as well.
