Ahmedabad: Team India defeated New Zealand by 168 runs in the third T20 match and won the series 2-1. In the last match of the series in Ahmedabad, India scored 234 runs losing 4 wickets in 20 overs thanks to Shubman Gill's first century in this format. In reply, the Kiwi team were all out for 66 runs in 12.1 overs. Hardik Pandya took maximum four wickets.
Pandya took the wickets of Blair Tickner one run, Lockie Ferguson zero, Glenn Phillips 2 runs and Finn Allen 3 runs. While Arshdeep Singh dismissed Mark Chapman (0) and Devon Conway (one run). At the same time, Shivam Mavi claimed wickets of Ish Sodhi (0) and Mitchell Santner.
