Madhya Pradesh News: Katni's 13-Year-Old Meenakshi Kshatriya Donated Piggy Bank On PM Modi's Appeal, Becomes Youngest

Bhopal: After a 13-year-old girl from Madhya Pradesh's Katni district donated her piggy bank amount for TB patients on the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Katni district administration has made the girl a brand ambassador for awareness.

On this initiative of the girl child, regional MP and state unit president of BJP Vishnudutt Sharma has called it inspirational for other children.

According to the information provided by the Katni collector's office, 13-year-old  Meenakshi Kshatriya has become the youngest 'Nikshay Mitra' after donating her piggy bank amount for TB patients on the appeal of Prime Minister Shri Modi. 

Katni district administration has made her its brand ambassador in the field of awareness.

This service work is inspiring for other children

Tweeting on this issue, Sharma said that on the appeal of Prime Minister Mr. Modi, the decision of Katni's daughter Meenakshi to dedicate her piggy bank deposit for the treatment of TB patients is commendable. At this age, with the awakening of the spirit of 'Nar Seva to Narayan Seva', this service work is inspiring for other children of the society.

PM lauds girl's gesture

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has lauded the noteworthy gesture of 13-year-old Meenakshi Kshatriya from Madhya Pradesh for enrolling herself as Ni-Kshay Mitra and taking care of TB patients with her savings.

PM Modi tweeted: “Noteworthy gesture, which will boost the efforts towards achieving TB-free India.”

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya also tweeted: Every act of kindness can help to transform someone's life. Big salute to 13-year-old Meenakshi Kshatriya from Madhya Pradesh for enrolling herself as Ni-Kshay Mitra & taking care of TB patients with her savings. This noble & powerful gesture will inspire many.
