Madhya Pradesh: CM Shivraj Opens Military Fair In Bhopal; Commanders' Conference From March 30, See In Pics

 

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated the military fair and arms exhibition on the grounds of Motilal Vigyan Mahavidyalaya, Bhopal. Commanding in Chief Northern Army Command Lt. Gen. Upendra Dwivedi and senior officers of the three Services were present. CM Chouhan cut the ribbon and released balloons. CM was presented a memento of Fauji Mela-2023.

Indian Army is one of most capable forces in the world

CM Shivraj said I am grateful to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central Government for organising the military fair in Bhopal. He said the Indian Army is one of the most capable forces in the world. Our jawans are protecting Maa Bharti while living in the most difficult conditions. We are able to celebrate festivals as a result of the sacrifice and gallantry of the army. I salute the bravery, courage and valour of our wonderful army.

CM Chouhan said that it is a matter of good fortune that the Commander's Conference of all the three forces is going to be held in Bhopal from March 30 to April 1. Prime Minister Shri Modi, Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh and senior most officers of the three Services will participate in it. 

 

Indigenously made weapons on display in fair

CM said that when Pakistan dared in 1965 and 1971, our forces taught them a lesson. Even in the Kargil war and the surgical strike, our soldiers destroyed the intentions of the enemy. The Indian Army has also made it clear to China that India is not less than anyone. Even after independence, 30 thousand soldiers have given martyrdom. 


CM said that in the memory of these martyrs, we have built the Shaurya Smarak in Bhopal. India is becoming self-sufficient in arms under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. There are many such weapons in the military fair too, which have been made indigenously.

CM hit target with M-4 gun

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan inspected the weapons and equipment of the Army, Air Force and Navy displayed at the military fair. The Chief Minister fired at the target with an M-4 gun that could shoot up to a distance of 300 metres. He also observed the activities of Navy on Laser Target Designator, Fagot Launcher, Virtual Reality Set.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also had a look at the functioning of Siachen Survival Gear, Light Strike Rifle, Communication Rover, Arjun Battle Tank, Air Force Aircraft Operation and received information regarding technology.
