Madhya Pradesh: Mhow Firing Incident, Rs 10 Lakh Assistance, Government Job For Affected Family

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has given instructions for a magisterial inquiry into the incident that took place in Mhow, Indore, in Madhya Pradesh which a tribal youth died in police firing. CM Chouhan said that Rs. 10 lakh will be given to the victim's family on behalf of the state government and government job in the city council will be given to the elder son. 

He said complete arrangements will be made in tribal hostels for proper education of three children of the family. The victim's family already has a house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, arrangements will also be made to renovate it. Arrangements have also been made by the district administration for the last rites of the deceased. CM Chouhan has given this information through a message issued on social media.

Indore Collector Dr. Ilaiah Raja T said that on the instructions of CM Chouhan, financial assistance of Rs. 10 lakh has been approved for the family of deceased Bherulal. Additional Collector Indore Abhay Bedekar reached the village of the affected family and handed over the cheque of assistance amount to the family. 

Sec 144 imposed

The Collector said Additional District Magistrate Shri Ajay Dev Sharma has been appointed as the investigating officer. Along with this, section 144 has been enforced in 5 police station areas and rallies, protests, demonstrations etc. have been banned. Besides, magistrates have been deployed additionally in the affected areas.
