Mukesh Ambani, Family To Get Highest Z+ Security In India, Abroad

New Delhi: Industrialist Mukesh Ambani and his family will get Z+ security cover in India and abroad. The Supreme Court has asked the Centre to provide Z+ security to Ambani. The apex court said the security should be provided not only in Mumbai but also throughout the country and abroad. 

Mukesh Ambani will bear all costs of security arrangement

The court has said that industrialist Mukesh Ambani will bear all the costs of this security arrangement. The Ambanis will now be covered under highest level Z+ security - with a detail of 55 personnel including more than 10 NSG commandos and police officers.

A bench of Justices Krishna Murari and Ahsanuddin Amanullah said that the Maharashtra government and the Ministry of Home Affairs would provide security while Mukesh Ambani and his family remain within India. The Ministry of Home Affairs should ensure security arrangements for them when they are travelling abroad, the court said.

Z+ security is the highest level of protection - granted to top dignitaries such as UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Union Finance Minister, and even former President Ram Nath Kovind.
