Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Becomes First Chief Minister To Pay Obeisance At The Court Of Kashi Vishwanath For The 100th Time

Varanasi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Srikashi Vishwanath Temple on Saturday morning. With this, he has become the first Chief Minister who has attended Baba Vishwanath's darbar for the 100th time.

Whenever Yogi, who took over the power of the state for the first time in the year 2017, comes to Kashi, he usually attends Baba Vishwanath's darbar every time and wishes for the welfare of the people by worshipping with Shodashopachara rituals. 

CM Yogi Adityanath has become the first Chief Minister to attend Baba's court 100 times in his first and second term since 2017. 

The Chief Minister came on a two-day visit to Varanasi for the 113th time on Friday. On the second day of the tour, the Chief Minister has worshipped at Shrikashi Vishwanath Dham, which has created a new record.

Yogi visits Kashi once or sometimes twice in a month

Yogi visits Kashi once or sometimes twice in a month. In each of his visits, the Chief Minister reviews the development works and conducts field inspections. In last six years, Yogi has reached the Kashi Vishwanath temple on an average every 21 days to worship. 

Yogi Adityanath has become the first CM to reach Baba Vishwanath's Dham nearly 100 times in 72 months of his first and second term.

After taking charge of Uttar Pradesh for the first time, Yogi Adityanath had reached Lord Visheshwar a total of 74 times from 2017 to March 2022 to seek blessings.

Dr. Neeraj Kumar Pandey, Archak of Shri Kashi Vishwanath, says that this shows his immense devotion towards Sanatan Dharma and Baba Vishwanath. Yogi anoints Vishwanath ji with Shodashopachara worship and Rudra Sukta. 

Along with this, he prays to Baba Vishwanath, the Nath of the world, for the welfare of the people, the welfare of the country and the state.

Visited Shrikashi Vishwanath Dham for the 88th time in Sept last year

It is noteworthy that on September 9 last year, when the Chief Minister visited Varanasi for the 100th time, he had visited Shrikashi Vishwanath Dham for the 88th time. From then till March 18, the Chief Minister attended Baba Vishwanath's court 12 times.

Also attended the court of Baba Kaal 100 times

Along with this, Yogi has also become the Chief Minister who has attended the court of Baba Kaal Bhairav, known as Kotwal of Kashi, 100 times. On Saturday morning, the Chief Minister performed darshan, worship and aarti at the Baba Kal Bhairav temple according to the rules and regulations. 

During this, seeing a boy playing Damru outside the temple, the Chief Minister stopped and lovingly asked his name and inquired about his studies.

The Chief Minister inspected the Circuit House on Saturday morning. During this, he mainly inspected the newly constructed building. Earlier, after reaching Varanasi on Friday evening, while conducting on-site inspection of development works, he gave all directions to the officials.
