Mumbai: Aditya Pancholi's son Sooraj Pancholi has been acquitted in actress Jiah Khan suicide case case by the special CBI court on Friday. Sooraj Pancholi was also present in the court when the verdict was being pronounced. The CBI court said that the evidence against you is not enough. Therefore you are acquitted.
Sooraj was accused of abetting actress Jiha Khan to commit suicide. Jiah committed suicide on 3 June 2013 in her flat in Mumbai. Ten years after this incident, the verdict has now come. Sooraj is the son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab.
Suraj Pancholi, the actor and Jiah's boyfriend, was arrested on the complaint of Jiah's mother. At that time, the police had also received a 6-page suicide note from Jiah Khan's flat. According to this Jiah used to be very upset due to her deteriorating relationship with Sooraj.

Juhu police recovered a 6-page handwritten suicide note from Jiah Khan's house on June 7, 2013. On June 11, 2013, the Mumbai Police arrested Sooraj Pancholi.
