Good News For Tiger Lovers In Madhya Pradesh



Sehore (Madhya Pradesh): The clan of tigers is increasing in the dense forests of the Madhya Pradesh's Sehore district. A good news has come that a tigress has given birth to two cubs in the forest of village Khari in Sehore district. The staff of the Forest Department is taking care of the cubs and also providing food, shelter and security to them.


According to information, a tigress has given birth to two cubs in the forest of village Khari in Sehore district. Sources are telling that about 15 days back a tigress gave birth to two cubs. When the villagers informed the staff of the Forest Department about this, the departmental staff reached village Khari and started taking care of the cubs. 


It has been told that the Forest Department has deployed special staff there. Not only this, the forest department is also making arrangements for food and water for the cubs. The officials of the Forest Department have also installed cameras there. So that they can keep a close eye on the movement of the tigress and the cubs.


The deputy ranger of the area Ashok Solanki said that the tigress has given birth to two cubs, but they have not yet identified whether the cubs are male or female. Sehore's DFO MS Davar said that he has received information about a tigress giving birth to two cubs in the forest of village Khari. He posted the staff of the Forest Department there giving them the responsibility of their security.


Lioness gives birth to 3 cubs in Indore


Meanwhile, in another good news for state's wildlife enthusiasts lioness 'Sundari' has given birth to three cubs in Indore-based Kamla Nehru Zoo, an official said on Tuesday. Zoo in-charge Uttam Yadav said the cubs were born on April 22 night in the cave of the enclosure for the lioness. 


Yadav said the zoo management came to know about the litter on Tuesday when the lioness was seen feeding them outside the cave in her enclosure. "After the birth of three cubs, the number of lions in the zoo has increased to seven. These include four adult animals including Sundari," he said.
