Madhya Pradesh: Mahakal Bhakt Niwas To Be Built In Ujjain; Will Have Facilities Similar To Shirdi And Tirupati


Ujjain: Devotees coming to Mahakaleshwar temple will get the facility of Bhakt Niwas. The huge and all-facilitated Bhakt Niwas, built at a cost of Rs 200 crore, will have facilities similar to those available in Shirdi and Tirupati.


Here devotees will be able to get AC room, e-bus charging, cafeteria to food prasadi. State chief Shivraj Singh Chouhan had inquired about the works going on in Mahakal Lok on the occasion of Gudi Padwa, the Hindu New Year. Then he had said that in view of the increasing number of devotees, there is a need for a Bhakt Niwas (residence for devotees). 


To make this vision a reality, Ujjain Collector Kumar Purshottam and Mahakal Temple Administrator Sandeep Soni along with the architect have conceived Bhakta Niwas. It was shown to CM Shivraj Singh. He has given his consent on seeing the presentation. Now soon the work will start after acquiring the vacant land near the Imperial Hotel and in front of it and it will be ready in the coming four years. 


32 acre of land being acquired


After this, the devotees coming to the temple will start getting facilities at cheap rates. Temple administrator Sandeep Soni told that 32 acres of land is being acquired for the Bhakt Niwas to be built for about Rs 200 crore. G+4 Mahakal Bhakta Niwas will be built on the land lying on both sides of Indore Ujjain Road near and in front of Imperial Hotel. 


The 2200 room Niwas will have 15 big blocks, a big garden including admin office, parking for 100 buses, e bus charging, waiting area, food area and the entire area will be converted into green area.
