Madhya Pradesh: PM Modi Will Come To Rewa On National Panchayati Raj Diwas


Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Rewa on April 24, the National Panchayati Raj Diwas. This is a matter of pride and joy for the state. 

 

Shivraj said maximum number of panchayat representatives and people's representatives should participate in this event being organised on Panchayat Raj Day. The achievements of the state should be prominently displayed in various schemes implemented for public welfare and development. 

 

CM Chouhan was reviewing the ongoing preparations for Prime Minister Modi's proposed visit to Rewa on April 24.
 

CM Chouhan said that arrangements should be made with sensitivity for meeting and drinking water etc. of citizens participating in the programme to be held on Panchayati Raj Diwas. It was informed that on National Panchayati Raj Diwas, there will be a programme at SAF Ground in Rewa. 

 

Grih Pravesh of 4 lakh beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana

 

In the programme, Prime Minister Modi will give conduct Grih Pravesh of 4 lakh beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Along with this, Bhoomi-pujan will be done for various works of Jal Jeevan Mission worth Rs. 7 thousand 573 crore. An exhibition focusing on Pradhan Mantri Awas, Swachh Bharat Mission, Aajeevika Mission, Amrit Sarovar, Jal Jeevan Mission and Health and Wellness Centres being developed in the state will be organised at the venue.
