PM Modi Meets Leading Australian Industrialists, Will Address Indians In Sydney


SYDNEY: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has now reached Australia after Japan, Papua New Guinea on his three-nation tour. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi tweeted that PM Narendra Modi has reached Sydney. PM Modi met CEOs of major Australian companies in Sydney. 


PM Narendra Modi met the leading Australian industrialist Dr. Andrew Forrest, Executive Chairman and Founder of Fortescue Metals Group and Fortescue Future Industries on 23 May in Sydney. 

 

Prime Minister welcomed Fortescue Group’s plans to work with Indian companies in the field of Green Hydrogen. Emphasizing India’s ambitious renewable energy plans, PM Modi highlighted the transformative reforms and initiatives being taken by India, such as the Green Hydrogen Mission. 


Dr. Forrest briefed Prime Minister on Fortescue Future Industries plans and projects in India.

 


PM Modi met Mrs. Gina Rinehart AO, Executive Chairman, Hancock Prospecting Group, Roy Hill, S. Kidman & Coa. 


Prime Minister highlighted the transformative reforms and initiatives being undertaken in India and invited her to partner in technology, investment and skilling in the mining and minerals sector.


PM Modi also met Paul Schroder, Chief Executive, AustralianSuper in Sydney. Prime Minister highlighted India’s credentials as one of the most preferred major economies for foreign investments in the world and invited AustralianSuper to partner with India. 


AustralianSuper is an Australian superannuation fund headquartered in Melbourne, Victoria.


PM will address over 20 thousand Indians


Similarly, PM will meet many more businessmen and big Influencers. Modi's super show will be held in Sydney's Olympic Park in the afternoon. In which the Prime Minister will address more than 20 thousand Indians living in Australia.
