Rajasthan Political Crisis: Sachin Pilot's Jan Sangharsh Yatra Enters Day 2; Pilot Gets Hanuman Beniwal's Support For New Party; Worried Randhawa Calls Meeting

Jaipur: Worried about the rebellious attitude of Sachin Pilot, Rajasthan Congress in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has convened a meeting of all co-incharges of the party of the state today on Friday.

Rajasthan Congress president Govind Singh Dotasra will also attend the meeting. But it remains to be seen how successful will be fresh reconciliation bid.

Sachin Pilot is taking out a 'Jan Sangharsh Yatra' against the inaction of the Rajasthan government with regard to the alleged corruption during the previous Vasundhara Raje-led Bharatiya Janata Party government in the state. Today is the second day of his 5-day Yatra from Ajmer to Jaipur. Large number of Pilot's supporters are participating in the padyatra.

In the past several attempts have been made to convince Pilot but the party has not been much successful in persuading the former deputy CM. The party is worried the rift between Pilot and Gehlot is only getting wider and could cost the party dear in the upcoming elections. Now the party is making a fresh attempt to end the factionalism in the party.

We are ready for an alliance with Pilot: Hanuman Beniwal

Meanwhile, a big statement of RLP leader Hanuman Beniwal active in Rajasthan has come to the fore. Beniwal said that if Sachin Pilot forms a new party, then we are ready for an alliance with him.

RLP leader Beniwal says that since 2009, he has been alleging nexus between Vasundhara Raje and Ashok Gehlot. Now Gehlot has publicly accepted that former CM Vasundhara Raje helped him save his government. Hanuman Beniwal also said that PM Narendra Modi repeatedly calls Ashok Gehlot his friend, this also indicates that BJP and Congress are united in Rajasthan.

Responding to the question related to the alliance, Hanuman Beniwal said that if Sachin Pilot separates from Congress and forms a new party, then the way for a political alliance with Pilot is open to fight the battle against Congress and BJP.

People are joining yatra: Pilot

Meanwhile, Pilot has said that people are joining this yatra and all of us are getting strength and courage from it.

Pilot was interacting with the media here before the night rest on the first day of his visit. He said that Jan Sangharsh Yatra has been started and its aim is to maintain the faith among the youth.

He said that it is very important to go to the bottom of the paper leak case in the state. He said  it is wrong to say even before the investigation that no official or leader is involved in paper leak.

He said that Ajmer is the center of education and we are going towards the capital. We are not acting out of vendetta.

Pilot said that he has been raising the issue of corruption for a long time and six to seven months are left for the government, even fasting for the demand of corruption investigation, nothing has been done.
