ODI World Cup -2023: Pakistan Govt Will Conduct Security Check Before Sending Its Cricket Team To India



The Pakistan government will conduct a security check before sending its cricket team for the ODI World Cup -2023 in India. According to reports, the Government of Pakistan will soon send its security team to India for investigation. This team will conduct security checks of the cities where Pakistan cricket team's World Cup matches will be held.


According to the media report, after Eid, there will be elections for the post of chairman in the Pakistan Cricket Board. Zaka Ashraf can become the new chairman. As soon as the new chairman is elected, PCB will coordinate with the Ministry of External Affairs and send a security team soon.

The Pakistan cricket team will play its first match in the World Cup against the Qualifier-1 team in Hyderabad. The team will play against India on October 15 in Ahmedabad. The rest of its matches will be held in 3 other cities. These include Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata. If the security team of Pakistan comes to India, it will see the security system of these cities and the management of the stadium here.


According to reports, if the security team finds any flaw in the security of any city, PCB will demand to change the venue of its team's cricket match. PCB will also send the report of the security check to ICC and BCCI.


The Pakistan cricket team last came to India in 2016 to play the T20 World Cup. Then the match between the two teams was first to be held at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala, but due to security reasons the venue was changed and the match was then played at the Eden Gardens ground in Kolkata. Which India won by 6 wickets.
