After defeating Pakistan by a huge margin on Monday, the Team India faces Sri Lanka in the Super 4 match of Asia Cup-2023. Before this match to be played from 3 pm, the weather in Colombo is bad and there are dark clouds.
Unike the India-Pakistan match, a reserve day has not been kept for this match with Sri Lanka. Earlier, the India-Pakistan match also had to face the impact of weather and the match was pushed into reserve day.
India-Pakistan match started on Sunday but after 24 overs were bowled, it started raining and the play was stopped. Next day on Monday, India advanced its innings and scored a mountain of runs. In response, Pakistan team disintegrated.
After bowling out Pakistan for just 128 runs, India won the match by 228 runs and registered its biggest win ever in ODI cricket against Pakistan.
Monday was a record breaking day in the Asia Cup. Virat Kohli scored his fourth consecutive ODI century on the ground of Colombo. KL Rahul, who was returning to international cricket after about 6 months, made the biggest partnership of the Asia Cup with Virat as Pakistan suffered their biggest defeat in Asia Cup history.
