Madhya Pradesh: CM Shivraj To Unveil Statue of Oneness, Bhoomi-pujan Will Be Held For Advaita Lok Dedicated To Adi Shankaracharya

 

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will unveil the Statue of Oneness dedicated to Adi Guru Shankaracharya and perform the bhoomi-pujan of Advaita Lok on Thursday, September 21 in Omkareshwar.

CM Shivraj will participate in the special
‘Brahmotsav’ programme to be held at Mandhata Parvat of Omkareshwar. 

 

CM will offer ahuti in Vedic Yagya ritual

 

CM Shivraj will reach the venue of programme along with prominent saints of the country at 10:30 am on Thursday. He will proceed towards the idol site after offering ahuti in the Vedic Yagya ritual along with the saints.

During this period, dances of Shaiva tradition from across the country will be presented. CM Shivraj will see the presentation by artists in the Indian performing styles of Panchayatan puja tradition promoted by Acharya. 

 

CM will lay foundation of Advaita Lok

 
CM Shivraj will unveil the Statue of Oneness dedicated to Acharya Shankar along with revered saints at 12 noon and perform the bhoomi-pujan and lay the foundation stone of Advaita Lok. The Chief Minister will offer floral tributes at the statue amid chanting of mantras and blowing of conch shells by 101 Batukas.

CM Shivraj will release books based on Ekatma Dham and Advaita Yuva Jagran Shivir published by Acharya Shankar Cultural Ekatma Trust at 3 pm in the ‘Brahmotsav’ programme at Siddhavarkoot.

On this occasion, there will be an ensemble dance presentation ‘Shivoaham’ focusing on the sources of Acharya Shankar. The film ‘Ekatmata ki Yatra” will be screened.

21st September will be marked as a historic day: Shivraj


Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that 21st September will be a historic day for our state. Along with the unveiling of the divine statue at Omkareshwar, the centre of knowledge of Adi Guru Shankaracharya, the foundation of Ekatmadham will also be laid. 

 

Chouhan said that Adi Guru Shankaracharya Maharaj did the work of culturally uniting the country.


CM Shivraj said that the birthplace of Adi Shankaracharya was Kerala, but he attained knowledge in Omkareshwar while traveling through forests and mountains. After gaining knowledge from here, he proceeded towards Kashi. India is one because of his Advaita Vedanta. Adi Shankaracharya created four Mathas in the four corners of the country.


CM Shivraj said that prominent saints including Swami Vivekananda, Swami Ramtirtha, Tulsi Das and Kabir Das have adopted the Advaita knowledge of Adi Guru Shankaracharya. We are building Ekatmadham in his memory so that future generations continue to get knowledge.
