Madhya Pradesh Election-2023: BJP's Fifth List May Be Out On 18 Oct, Will Jyotiraditya Scindia Get Ticket This Time?

BJP has so far released 4 lists for Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, in which the party has so far announced the names of its candidates on 136 seats. But the names of candidates for 94 seats are yet to be announced.

BJP sources are saying that the party will now announce the names of its candidates on 60 out of these 94 seats and release the fifth list. Regarding this, the BJP Core Committee meeting started in Delhi on Tuesday.

This meeting of BJP Core Committee is going on at the residence of National President JP Nadda. Big leaders like Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Kailash Vijayvargiya, VD Sharma, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Ashwani Vaishnav, Bhupendra Yadav etc. are attending the meeting.

Will BJP field Scindia from Shivpuri ?

In this meeting, names of candidates for 60 seats can be decided. But everyone's eyes are on the candidature of a particular leader and that name is Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. Now there is only one question on everyone's lips, is BJP going to give ticket to Jyotiraditya Scindia in its next list? Is BJP going to field Scindia from Shivpuri assembly seat?

Such speculations are now being made that BJP may announce the name of Jyotiraditya Scindia in the next list. Because BJP has fielded almost all the Union Ministers and MPs in the assembly elections and it is believed that now BJP is preparing to field Scindia also.

In fact, now the stir within BJP regarding Jyotiraditya Scindia has intensified. Recently, when the BJP core group meeting was being held in Bhopal, there were reports that Scindia could contest the assembly elections. Scindia himself was present in this meeting and then news came that Scindia had said that if all the big leaders contest the elections then who will campaign.

Scindia denied that he had refused to contest

But later Scindia's office denied the news that he had refused to contest the assembly elections. This was interpreted to mean that if the party gives him a ticket then he can also contest the assembly elections. Obviously, after this incident, speculations about Scindia contesting the assembly elections have increased and now it remains to be seen what decision is taken on Scindia's candidature after the ongoing meeting in Delhi. There is a strong possibility that BJP may release its fifth list on Wednesday.
