PM Modi to open Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit 2023 in Dehradun on 8 Dec

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Dehradun, Uttarakhand on 8th December, 2023. At around 10:30 AM, he will inaugurate ‘Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit 2023’ being held at Forest Research Institute, Dehradun. Prime Minister will also address the gathering on the occasion.

‘Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit 2023’ is a step towards establishing Uttarakhand as a new investment destination. The two day summit is being held on 8th and 9th December, 2023 with the theme -  “Peace to Prosperity”.

The summit will be attended by thousands of investors and delegates from across the world. It will witness participation of Union Ministers, Ambassadors of various countries along with leading industrialists, among others.

 

Govt to highlight over 15 investor-friendly policies

 

The Uttarakhand government plans to highlight over 15 investor-friendly policies, emphasising good governance measures, a supportive regulatory framework, and sustainable practices during the Summit. The agenda also includes Business-to-Business (B2B) and Government-to-Business (G2B) meetings, aimed at aiding investors in making informed decisions. 


The Summit aims to foster collaboration between exhibitors, private enterprises, and government organisations by giving them a platform to display advanced technologies, innovations, and upcoming trends.


Investment proposals worth Rs 2 lakh crore confirmed

 

Ahead of the Summit, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami emphasized the state’s safety, branding it as one of the safest in the nation and a prime investment destination. Investment proposals worth Rs 2 lakh crore have been confirmed, with a primary focus on creating job opportunities.

During a Social Media Influencers Meet, CM Dhami urged attendees to promote the event globally. The goal is for “Destination Uttarakhand, Global Investors Summit” to trend worldwide through their platforms.
