The announcement of the 69th Filmfare Awards has started. 12th Fail has received the Best Screenplay Award. OMG-2 has been given the Best Story Award. This award ceremony is being held in Gift City of Gandhinagar (Gujarat). Technical awards had already been announced. Shahrukh Khan's film Jawan has received the award in the Best Action category.

Best Screenplay- Vidhu Vinod Chopra, 12th Fail,
Best Dialogue- Ishita Moitra, Rocky and Rani's Love Story
Ganesh Acharya was given the Best Choreography award for the song 'What Jhumka' from the Love Story of Rocky and Rani. In the category of technical awards, Sam Bahadur has received maximum three awards, while Animal has received two awards.
This time Ranbir Kapoor, Shahrukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Sunny Deol and Vicky Kaushal are nominated in the Best Actor category.
Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Kiara Advani, Rani Mukherjee and Taapsee Pannu have received nominations for Best Actress.
Kareena Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Varun Dhawan, Kartik Aryan, Ranbir Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor are going to perform in this ceremony. Karan Johar, Ayushmann Khurrana and Manish Paul are hosting the show. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel is also attending the function.
