Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) chief Jayant Chaudhary finally joined the NDA. There was speculation for the past several days about his joining BJP. After the announcement of Bharat Ratna to Chaudhary Charan Singh by the Central Government, it was considered certain that his grandson Jayant Chaudhary would leave the India alliance and go with the BJP-led NDA.
Now this news has been confirmed. Jayant Chaudhary will be with NDA in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Regarding this, Jayant Chaudhary said that I have talked to all my MLAs. We had to take this decision in a short time because the circumstances were such. He said that all our MLAs and workers are with us in this decision.
Recently, when asked about joining hands with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Choudhary had said, 'Is there any doubt? How can I refuse it today?
Praising Modi, Chaudhary said that due to the foresight and dedication of the Prime Minister, a decision was taken which no previous government could take. This is a big day for the country. This is an emotional and memorable moment for me. I would like to thank President Droupadi Murmu, the Government of India and especially Prime Minister Narendra Modi who showed foresight and took this decision and honored Chaudhary Charan Singh with Bharat Ratna.
