Another AAP leader under ED's scrutiny? Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot also summoned by ED in liquor policy scam


After the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal on charges of alleged scam in Delhi's liquor policy, ED has issued summons to another AAP leader and Delhi government minister Kailash Gehlot.


Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot has been called for questioning in the case of alleged money laundering related to liquor policy. He has been called for questioning in this case for the first time.


Kailash Gehlot arrived at the Enforcement Directorate office on Saturday, shortly after being summoned to participate in the investigation concerning the liquor policy case, which led to the arrest of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by the central investigative agency.


Gehlot, aged 49 and representing Najafgarh as an MLA for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), holds ministerial positions in the Delhi government, overseeing transport, home affairs, and law.


'Dictatorship of BJP'


Aam Aadmi Party leader Dilip Kumar Pandey termed the issuing of summons to Gehlot as 'dictatorship of BJP'.


Earlier, Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal have been arrested in the alleged scam related to liquor policy.


BJP leader Virendra Sachdeva said on issuing summons to Gehlot, "Summons have been issued to another minister of Delhi government. The truth will soon be revealed to the public. The truth about the corrupt faces of Arvind Kejriwal and his party will now be in front of everyone."


CM Arvind Kejriwal, arrested on charges of alleged scam related to liquor policy, will remain in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate till April 1.
