Israel-Hamas Conflict: Israel angry with America's stance in UN on Gaza, takes this step

Israel has canceled the proposed visit of its delegation to America after the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) passed a resolution demanding immediate implementation of ceasefire in Gaza.

The office of the Prime Minister of Israel has said that Benjamin Netanyahu has taken this decision after the change in America's stance in the UNSC.

He had already threatened that if there was a change in America's stance, the tour would be cancelled.

The reason for Israel's anger is that America did not veto the resolution in the UN seeking ceasefire in Gaza.

America did not participate in the voting held on Monday. This proposal was brought by China.

However, the White House has said that not participating in the voting process is not a change in America's policy.

White House spokesperson John Kirby also said that America will talk to Israel about its decision.

Earlier, the resolution brought in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) demanding immediate implementation of ceasefire in Gaza was approved.

America did not participate in the voting on this proposal.

China had informed on Monday itself that it has presented a resolution in the United Nations Security Council demanding immediate implementation of the ceasefire in Gaza.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said that China supports this draft proposal.

He also said that he praised the hard work of Algeria and other Arab countries in preparing this resolution.

After the Hamas attack on Israel on 7 October, 32,226 people have died so far in the Israeli attack on Gaza. This data has been released by the Hamas-run Health Ministry in Gaza.
